Harper’s Steakhouse and Bar – Swanick
Right beside Swanick Marina on the way into Southampton sits Harper’s Steakhouse and Bar. It’s a swish and sprawling restaurant attached to a hotel and if you’re ever going past with a growling belly then swing into the carpark and grab a table.

The Alma Inn – Upham
After a restaurant detour and ice cream stop it’s back to our regularly scheduled pub grub crawl. Where next? The Alma Inn in Upham, a Stonehouse pub near Marwell zoo. It’s been on our to-visit list since a friend recommended it.

Las Iguanas – Southampton West Quay
Yeah ok, ok. Las Iguanas is not a pub. But if we’re eating, why not review it? You never know what you might be in the mood for. So, it’s a bit more expensive because it’s restaurant prices and it’s great if you love Mexican and South American food.
