We went to the Bluebird Cafe in Lee-on-The-Solent for one reason and one reason only: The Bluebird Rainbow ice cream.
Along the Lee-On-The-Solent seafront the Bluebird Cafe sits in the perfect place to tempt beachgoers. And when the sun is out, even just the faintest sliver, the queue for the ice cream hatch stretches right along the whole pavement.
Why? Because there is nothing more refreshing than ice cream at the beach on a scorching day. And if you’re going to grab an ice cream from the Bluebird Cafe, it has to be the Bluebird Rainbow.

This colourful cone is a treat for the eyes, the tongue and, well, everything really. Each layer offers a fruity flavour and even when they end up mixing together it’s still pure seaside joy.
If you’re heading to Lee-On-The-Solent seafront during warm weather make sure you stop by for a Bluebird Rainbow. Then find a bench and enjoy the views across the Solent along with your ice cream.
